Magic Mountain

Eighth Grade Six Flags Magic Mountain Extravaganza

At school - Departure 2:10

· Prior to departure, students will go to the gym to pick up
their t-shirts. The doors on the parking lot side are for those with
small and medium t-shirts. The doors closer to the lunch tables are for
large and xl and xxl. The students will go into the locker room to
change. When students are finished they need to put backpacks in the
appropriate classroom: Nile in B4 (Sosa's room), Rio Verde in B5 (F.
Ballard's room) and Spirit in B7 (Schranz's room). Students will
begin to load buses at 1:50. The buses will be in alphabetical order.
The buses will have signs on them and there will be signs up for the
students on the B building. The students will sit in the quad area
until we do an all call for their bus.

Chaperones will meet in my room at 1:20. I will need you to verify the
count of tickets. Chaperones will need to wear a nametag. As students
get onto the bus you will be checking them in. Once all students are on
the bus you will give me the attendance.


On the bus and prior to entering Six Flags

· Read the riot act to the students. Tickets and wristbands
should be distributed to students upon arrival to the park as they exit
the buses.

At Six Flags:

All chaperones will check in at guest relations and provide contact
information including a cell phone to be called in case of an emergency.
Emergencies prior to 6:00 pm, will be handled by a page from guest
relations to any chaperone from the school the student attends.

Catered picnic beginning at 6:00 pm, private party from 7:00 pm until
9:00 pm, DJ and dancing in the picnic area along with DJ led activities,
Souvenir photo voucher with matted frame (students can select photo from
any photo kiosk at the park)

Menu - Yellow tickets

Cheeseburgers, chili hot dogs, baked beans, kernel corn, coleslaw, ice
cream bars, twin pops, and fountain drinks will be available in the
picnic area from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

Snacks - Yellow and Green tickets

All chaperones will be able to access free snacks and beverages in the
West Picnic Area beginning at 6:00 pm until park closure. Nachos,
veggies, crackers, and soda will be available for snacking.

What time does the event end?

The park is open until midnight, but students are required to depart
the park at 10 and return to their school via bus at: 10:20 pm

If desired, attendees may return via private transportation to the park
following drop off at the school. · · There will be no
exceptions to the requirement for all students to ride their designated
bus to and from the event. Please note for parents and students on
permission slips that "Early releases will not be permitted, and
private transportation will not be allowed for students".

Chaperones: 1 free ticket for every 10 students (16 of the chaperone
tickets per school site will be yellow and will include the catered
picnic, all other chaperones will be provided with a green ticket and
will have access to complimentary beverages and snacks beginning at 6:00
pm and continuing through the evening in the West Picnic Area away from
students. Chaperones that do not receive the ticket with the catered
picnic may purchase the catered picnic at the school site for an
additional $10.00 and will be issued the yellow ticket instead of the
green ticket. ·
