Welcome Vince Ferry, Rio Norte's new principal

Principal

Dear River Hawk Family,
I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Vince Ferry, and I am very excited to join the GREAT Rio Norte Junior High School Family as its new principal. I have been a member of the Hart District for the past 19 years. During this time, I have served as a special education teacher, activities director, and most recently, assistant principal at Valencia High School. From these experiences, I have found that working collaboratively with a shared vision  will provide us with the greatest opportunity for success, and  I look forward to working  WITH  all of you in making an already great school even better.

Rio Norte Junior High School is comprised of a very caring and committed staff, and our goal is to help your student strive to reach his/her fullest potential. We look forward to working with each student to guide him/her to excel in meeting all academic standards and to develop the academic skills necessary for a successful transition into high school and beyond. This will take a heavy commitment on the part of the school, your student, and you, and together we will accomplish this goal.

Rio Norte Junior High School is the community’s school, and we recognize our responsibility to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students. We value and celebrate diversity, as well as the unique talents of each and every student. A strong relationship between the school, the student ,  and the home will maximize the educational experience for each student.

I look forward to meeting you and your student, and please stop by to say hello the next time you are on campus. Rio Norte Junior High School is truly "A Great Place to Be."

Go River Hawks!
